Endorsing
individuals, ministries and organizations is not
something I do on a regular basis.
However, this is one of those occasions that I
feel the need to do so. It is with the utmost confidence
and without reservation that I give not only my
endorsement
but my thinks to God for the impartation Elder
Alcindor Hankins has given to me and the congregation
of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church,
Wilmington, North Carolina.
As a leader within the Christian community, inviting
entertainers to stand before a people to whom you have
been entrusted, can be a very challenging proposition.
Recently, I was challenged with the responsibility
of providing entertainment for a room filled with singles,
both young and old, dressed in formal attire. How does
one turn such an event into an evening of many laughs,
joy and renewal of oneself through good clean Christian
humor? I'm delighted to report that there is an answer.
My search led me to an anointed vessel of God who goes
by the name of LaSalle LaSalle. He is formally known
as Elder Alcindor Hankins.
Should you or your community of faith be interested
in a joy-filled evening with a talented professional,
allow me to strongly recommend Christian Comedian Elder
Alcindor Hankins.
Elder Hankins
possesses the unique ability to reach out to the
churched and un-churched with the Good News
of Jesus Christ through a combination of humor, spiritual
illustrations, analogies, stories and personal testimony.
He is a proven top-quality professional who demonstrates
the anointing of God not only as a comedian but also
as a revivalist. Elder Hankins will provide an evening
of extremely hilarious gospel comedy.
Even though he has great comedic delivery and enthusiasm,
Elder Hankins does not hesitate in dealing with man's
problem of sin and God's answer to that problem through
Jesus Christ. I consider Elder Hankins to be a personal
friend and a great asset to the Body of Christ.
Medical
journals report that humor in life strengthens our
immune systems. More importantly, the Word of God
makes it clear that "a merry heart doeth good
like a medicine (Proverbs 17:22)". Additionally,
we find recorded in Job 8:21 "He will yet fill
your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouting."
It is my prayer and desire that the people of God
would allow this vessel of God to impart laughter into
the people for their health and the will of God.
Grace and Peace,
Dr. Roosevelt Baxter Jr.
