I Believe He is HOLY, HOLY, HOLY Lord God Almighty!
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY Merciful and Mighty! God in Three Persons, Blessed
Trinity.
I
Believe not only is God’s Plan
for Christians to laugh, but we should find the purpose
in laugher. Ecclesiastes 3:4 “…and a time
to laugh…”
I
Believe according to Proverbs 17:22, “a
merry heart doeth good like a medicine, a broken spirit
drieth the bones”. It is my hope that all will
experience the healing power of laughter.
I
Believe the “Laugh and Learn
Ministry” comes from God! “Every good and
perfect gift come from above and cometh down from the
Father”, according to James 1:17. “A man’s
gift maketh room for him and bringeth him before great
men”, according to Proverbs 18:16. Therefore I
thank God for the great Pastors that have invited me
to their churches to share in the “Laugh and Learn
Ministry.” I am so grateful to the Pastors who
allow me to do Gospel Comedy on Saturday night and preach
the following Sunday morning. |

I Believe you need to know that I sincerely love and enjoy what
I do. It is my greatest desire that laughter will abound. This does
not mean, however, that I take my work lightly. Gospel Comedy is serious
business! Therefore, when booking me it is critical that the booking
agreement/contract be honored. Know that if you DO NOT send me the
booking agreement/contract and deposit, I CANNOT HOLD THAT DATE FOR
YOU. Please keep in mind as well that all deposits are non-refundable.
I Believe you
need to know that I am not the kind of Gospel Comedian who make
fun of how people praise God. The Bible declares that God inhabits
the praises of His people, seeking such to worship Him and the
speaking in tongues is a gift. Therefore, no need to worry about
me using what is “Sacred to God”, just to make people
laugh. THAT’S NOT MY STYLE OF GOSPEL COMEDY! The Lord is
to be honored and held in reverence at all times.

Believe you need to know that I prefer not being last
on the program or event. I have learned that it is
difficult to make people laugh after they have been
sitting for 2 or more hours. |

Believe you need to know that when you are making out your programs
or flyers, I prefer to be called Elder, Minister or Brother Hankins,
NEVER Rev. Hankins. The Bibles declares in Psalms 111:9 “…holy
and reverend is His name.”
I
Believe you need to know that I will not perform
comedy during the time while people
are eating. When people are eating, they are not
listening, but walking, talking and asking for more tea and dessert…LOL!!
I Believe you can have 3 in 1! I can
be and have been, scheduled on one program as Brother
Alcindor as Emcee, Elder Hankins as guest Preacher,
and Gospel Comedian LaSalle LaSalle.

Believe if all minds and hearts are clear, let’s
make the devil mad by enjoying our walk with the Lord
with laughter. |
